Bluenose Squash Classic 2012

The Bluenose Squash Classic 2012 took place from March 28th to 31st, 2012 in Halifax , Canada . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2011/12 and belonged to the International 50 category .

The defending champion was Mohd Azlan Iskandar . Thierry Lincou defeated Daryl Selby in the final with 9:11, 11: 8, 9:11, 11: 5 and 11: 4. This was Lincou's second title at the tournament after 2010 .

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The four best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Andrew Quick a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 55,000.
