Bluenose Squash Classic 2009

The Bluenose Squash Classic 2009 took place from February 3rd to 8th, 2009 in Halifax , Canada . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2008/09 and was endowed with 40,000 US dollars. It belonged to the category 5 star .

The defending champion was Laurens Jan Anjema , who reached the semi-finals this year. In the final, the top seeded David Palmer prevailed against Peter Barker with 11: 5, 11: 5 and 11: 7.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Martin Knight a spot in the main draw.
