Bluenose Squash Classic 2013

The Bluenose Squash Classic 2013 took place October 15-20 , 2013 in Halifax , Canada . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2013/14 and belonged to the International 35 category . At the same time, the Macau Open 2013 took place in Macau , a tournament in the International 50 category .

The defending champion was Thierry Lincou , who had ended his career in the meantime. In the final, Miguel Ángel Rodríguez from Colombia defeated the top seeded Englishman Daryl Selby 4:11, 11: 2, 11: 2 and 11: 6 and won his first title of the season.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 35,000.
