action

Shanda, the dancing attraction of the Plata City saloon, is charged with murdering banker Burton. In order to save her from being lynched by the Quaker women of the area, the sheriff sends her with two deputies to Phoenix, where she is to be tried. On the way there, the seedy bear joins the small group; the three men rape Shanda and leave her helpless in the desert.

Wanted poster William Huston, also known as Black Talisman, finds Shanda and takes her to a ghost town, where he has been hiding with two Indians for some time. While Shanda is recovering, William falls in love with her. Pretending to be a gamer, William goes to Plata City and kills the two deputies before going in search of Bear. The murder of the banker is also cleared up: his widow Sybille gave Bear the job. When William finds Bear and is about to have his confession signed, both are threatened by Sybille. The men manage to disarm her and lock her in a hut, which soon catches fire. William Bear then gives the sheriff's confession and orders that the bounty for him, should it ever be paid, be given to Shanda. He finally returns to her in the abandoned city.

criticism

Christian Keßler regrets a "moderate, relatively brutal spaghetti western", who unfortunately doesn't know what to do with his relatively unusual subject matter , especially the intolerance of scourging the portrayal of women as pure objects of pleasure while using sexist platitudes because of the "super bad German synchro".

Remarks

The movie song “Arizona's waiting” is sung by Raoul .
