After ten years in the highest Yugoslav league, he went abroad for the first time.
Committed to the 1955/56 season by Bayern Munich, he only played two games in the 2nd Oberliga Süd , to which his club was relegated due to the 1954/55 , and two friendlies. In the following season he played for FC Bayern Munich - after returning to the Oberliga Süd - eleven times and scored four goals. He made his debut on November 4, 1956 (10th matchday) in the 0-5 defeat in the away game against VfB Stuttgart ; he scored his first goal a week later in a 5-4 victory in the stadium on Grünwalder Strasse against BC Augsburg with the goal to make it 4-2 in the 48th minute. At the end of the season he left the club and moved abroad again. In the 1957/58 season , the second season of professional football competition in the Netherlands , however, he only made three goalless first division games for NAC Breda from the city of the same name in the province of North Brabant .
