Boavista dos Pinheiros is a place and a municipality Freguesia in the Alentejo in Portugal in the district of Odemira , with an area of 37.8 km² and 1633 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011). This corresponds to a population density of 43.1 inh / km². The community of Boavista dos Pinheiros was only founded on June 12, 2001 and became out of the neighboring communities Santa Maria (Odemira) and São Salvador (Odemira) . All three parishes are on the banks of the Mira River .
