During his military service in World War II, he was assigned to " Luftgau Norway", from which he later derived his stage name: Lu ft ga u No rwegen. He became known with the ORF programs such as "Bobby and Strolchi", "Bobby and the Magic Lamp" and many others. Together with the clown Arminio Rothstein , he produced 40 bedtime sweets in 1979 under the title “The magic box with Bobby and Habakuk” . He also performed as a magician at Am dam des .

Characteristic of Bobby Lugano was that he performed with the dog "Strolchi", a hand puppet, that he used a pinch of "magic salt" for his magic tricks and that he commented on failed magic tricks with the words "Yes, one should be able to do magic".

Until his death in a private clinic in Vienna- Döbling , Bobby Lugano owned a small café on Hütteldorfer Strasse in the Breitensee part of the 14th district.

Kurt Drössler does not have his own grave because he bequeathed his body to anatomy . Bobby Lugano's son also works as a magician under the stage name Jimmy Lugano.
