Bobcatsss

BOBCATSSS is a scientific conference on topics from library and information science , which is organized annually by Eastern and Western European students under the auspices of the European Association for Library and Information Education and Research (EUCLID).

The name BOBCATSSS is an acronym and stands for the first letters of the founding cities that created and first organized the BOBCATSSS Symposium in 1993: Budapest , Oslo , Barcelona , Copenhagen , Amsterdam , Tampere , Stuttgart , Szombathely and Sheffield . Over the past few years, more cities have joined the BOBCATSSS network, including: Borås , Riga , Kharkiv , Moscow , Tallinn , Toruń , Warsaw , Sofia , Ljubljana , Krakow , Bratislava and Ankara .
