The Bodens IK was a Swedish ice hockey club from Boden .
history
Bodens IK was founded in 1987 after the ice hockey department of Boden BK separated from the parent club. The Bodens IK played continuously from 1987 to 2005 in the second highest Swedish league - first in Division 1 and from 1999 in its follow-up competition HockeyAllsvenskan . The team went bankrupt following the 2004/05 season and was replaced in 2006 by the Bodens HF .
