Bodo Kuhn
Bodo Kuhn (born August 9, 1967 in Miltenberg ) is a former German athlete . He took part in the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul and won a bronze medal in the 4 x 400 meter relay . Today he works as a physiotherapist in Tauberbischofsheim .
Life
Bodo Kuhn grew up in Schneeberg (Lower Franconia) . During his active time as a runner he won several times at the Hessian, South German and German championships as well as a military world championship. Bodo Kuhn was a member of the German national athletics team from 1986 until his injury-related retirement in 1992 .
After the end of his sporting career, he trained as a physiotherapist and then worked from 1994 to 2002 as a supervisor for the fencing team at the Tauberbischofsheim Olympic base . Today he runs his own practice for physiotherapy, works as a personal trainer and offers running seminars.
1988 Olympic Games
Bodo Kuhn decided not to start in the 400-meter individual competitions and concentrated on the 4-by-400-meter relay. He achieved a time of 3: 03.09 min in the run-up, together with Mark Henrich , Jörg Vaihinger and Ralf Lübke . In the final, Kuhn and Henrich were no longer used. The relay, consisting of Vaihinger and Lübke, as well as Norbert Dobeleit and Edgar Itt , won the bronze medal in 3: 00.56 minutes.
