Bodo Voigts
Bodo Voigts (born August 9, 1844 in Lüchow ; † January 29, 1920 in Berlin ) was a German lawyer.
Life
Bodo Voigts studied law in Göttingen and became a member of the Corps Bremensia there . He then entered the judiciary and was a magistrate in Hagen . After holding various positions in the administration, he worked bailiff of the Office Freiburg / Elbe and District Chief in Stader march circle and from 1885 to 1889 as a district administrator in Freiburg / Elbe ( county Kehdingen ). In 1889 Voigts became director of the administrative court in Minden and in 1891 a senior administrative judge in Berlin. In 1894 Bodo Voigts became President of the Hanover State Consistory (today: Hanover State Church Office ), and from 1900 also director of the Hanover Consistory. In 1903 Voigts became president of the Evangelical Upper Church Council in Berlin. He held this office until 1919. From 1916 to 1918 Voigts was a member of the Prussian manor house .
