Rudolf von Uechtritz (administrative lawyer)

Rudolf von Uechtritz (born November 27, 1803 in Dresden , † August 29, 1863 in Nieder Heidersdorf , Lauban district ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer , district administrator of the Lauban district (1840-1848) and president of the Evangelical Upper Church Council (1850-1863).

Life

origin

His parents were Friedrich Joseph Peter von Uechtritz (* 1770; † 1837) and Friederike Auguste Charlotte Ernst (* November 22, 1775 in Meißen ; † March 5, 1847). His brother Peter Friedrich was also a lawyer.

Career

Uechtritz completed his law studies in Halle ad Saale and in Berlin . In 1825 he began as an auscultator at the city court in Berlin. In 1826 he was a trainee lawyer at the district court and in 1827 was appointed patrimonial judge in Marklissa . From 1835 he worked as an assessor at the Higher Regional Court and in 1838 received the title of judicial councilor . From 1840 Uechtritz served as district administrator in Marklissa, Province of Silesia and from 1841 in the new district administrator's seat in Lauban . In 1848 he became president of the Breslau Consistory and in 1849 he was appointed acting ministerial director in the Prussian Ministry of Culture. From 1850 Uechtritz was the first president of the Evangelical Upper Church Council in Berlin until his death.

From 1849 to 1852 Uechtritz was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives (KoP).
