The Bolshoi Kotschmes ( Russian Большо́й Кочме́с ) is a left tributary of the Ussa in the Komi Republic in northwestern Russia .

The Bolshoi Kotschmes rises in the western foreland of the subpolarural . It flows first to the northeast, then makes a turn and flows to the southwest through the foothills. Finally, the river turns to the northwest and meanders through the swampy lowlands to Ussa which it few kilometers east of Kossju reached -Mündung. The Bolshoi Kotschmes has a length of 198 km. It drains an area of ​​1890 km².
