Members
The band members are Elspeth Hanson (first violinist from London , Great Britain), Eos Chater (second violinist from Cardiff , Wales , Great Britain), Tania Davis ( violist from Sydney , New South Wales , Australia) and Gay-Yee Westerhoff ( cellist from Hull , England , UK).
Haylie Ecker from Perth ( Western Australia , Australia) was the first violinist in the band until 2007 .
Albums
Their debut album, Born was from the UK classical charts , the charts for classical music Britain removed on the grounds that it sounded supposedly "too much like pop music ." Shine , their second album, went gold in the UK and Australia. Remixed , their third release, contained remixes of previous songs as well as three new, previously unreleased songs . Their third studio album, Classified , was a very successful and well-known release. Classified went platinum in Australia and reached both the pop and in the classical charts in Australia Place 1. Explosive: The Best of Bond 2005 is a best-of collection , but again three new hitherto unpublished songs contains .
Others
The band spent a lot of time touring in 2003 , especially in Asia , and took part in the Miss Universe 2003 beauty pageant . Bond were guests at a New Year's Eve concert with André Rieu in Hanover in December 2003 , and they played Victory with Rieu .
bond also had guest appearances in two films: in Johnny English they play the play Kismet and a salsa version of the title theme, in xXx 2 - The Next Level they appear at a reception with the play Victory . You were also involved in filming a commercial for the American Department Store Chain Marshall Fields and shot a commercial in Los Angeles for Japanese karaoke maker Daiichi Kosho.
In 2011, the band released their fourth studio album entitled Play. There were seven years between the third and fourth albums, as the band was on a “joint maternity leave”. Tania Davis meanwhile gave birth to a boy.
