The Boniface GmbH is a printing and publishing company based in the East Westphalian county town of Paderborn . It was founded in 1869 and has a Catholic publishing program.

history

Bonifatius was founded in Paderborn in 1869 out of a Christian environment. He began to publish books, magazines and brochures, especially life aids. At the end of the 19th century, anti-Semitic pamphlets such as Der Mauscheljude and Christenschutz - nicht Judenhatz were published. In the 1950s the publisher expanded its program to include academic and popular literature with a focus on ecumenism . The Westphalian regional history was added later. The publishing house's partners are the Archdiocese of Paderborn and the Johann Adam Möhler Institute for Ecumenism .

The company's logo was designed in 2016 by Pia Gätjen, Bielefeld.
