Former gravel pit |
The Bordenauer See (also Bordenauer Kiesteich or Kiesteich Bordenau) is a former gravel pit in Neustadt am Rübenberge in the Hanover region . The quarry pond is located in the leash lowlands north of Bordenau , a district of Neustadt am Rübenberge. It was created during the construction of the B 6 .
The lake is located in a nature reserve and is largely surrounded by trees. It is looked after by the Neustadt am Rübenberge fishing club and used as a fishing spot. In 2011, eel , perch , bream , pike , carp , roach , rudd , tench and pikeperch were reported from the lake .
There is a lawn in a non-fenced area on the east bank. This area is open to bathers. Nude bathing is also possible. There are no sanitary facilities and there are no lifeguards.
