The Borne is a river in France that runs in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises under the name Ruisseau du Déluge in the Savoy Alps , on the southern flank of the summit Tête des Annes (1869 m), in the municipal area of Le Grand-Bornand , first drains to the southwest and west, then turns to the north and flows after 34 kilometers in the municipal area of Bonneville as a left tributary into the Arve .
