Borowe ( Ukrainian Борове ; Russian Боровое Borowoje , Polish Borowa ) is a village in the north of the Ukrainian Oblast Rivne with about 2300 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in the first half of the 17th century, is the administrative center of the 107.84 km² district council of the same name in the south of Saritschne Rajon , which also includes the villages of Lyssytschyn ( Лисичин , ⊙ ) with around 190 inhabitants and Mlynok ( Млинок , ⊙ ) with about 830 inhabitants.
The village is located in the historical Volyn region at an altitude of 152 m on the bank of the Vyrok (Ukrainian Вирок ), a 19 km long left tributary of the Ritschyzja (Ukrainian Річиця , river system Styr ), 35 km southwest of the district center of Sarichne and 144 km north of Rivne Oblast Center .
The T-18-08 territorial road runs through the village . Borowe has a train station on the Antonivka – Saritschne railway line .
