Boston Review

The Boston Review is an American magazine for politics and literature, especially poetry. Its editor-in-chief is Joshua Cohen , its deputy is Deborah Chasman, and Pulitzer Prize winner Junot Díaz is the literary editor. The magazine is published by Boston Critic and has its office in Somerville , Massachusetts , a suburb of Boston .

Founded in 1975, the Boston Review began as a literary and art magazine. In the 1990s she broadened her focus and is now clearly focused on politics. She is known for her academic-intellectual political debates and her prose and poetry competitions. Primarily interested in intellectual discussion, she has no clear political orientation.
