In 1981 the ship was sold to the Finnish shipping company Ab Sally and renamed The Viking . From then on it was used from Ramsgate to Dunkirk . After the ship failed several times in 1981 and 1982 due to machine damage, the machine system in Bremerhaven was replaced by a new one in September 1982 . In April 1983 she returned to service as Sally Express .

From 1985 she was also used from Hirtshals to Bergen . In October 1985 the Bolette was used as a barge in Ålborg . In the years to come, the ship was chartered out to several shipping companies and used on various routes.

In November 1988 the Moroccan shipping company Comarit bought the ship from Fred. Olsen and renamed it Boughaz . It was used from Algeciras to Tangier . In 2001 the Boughaz in Bremerhaven was modernized. The ship remained in service for Comarit for over 20 years until the shipping company had to file for bankruptcy in December 2011 and was dissolved. The Boughaz was launched together with the other ships of the shipping company and offered for sale.
