Bradley Tutschek (born September 23, 1980 in Edmonton , Alberta ) is a German - Canadian ice hockey player who last played for the DEG Metro Stars from the German Ice Hockey League .

Career

Tutschek began his ice hockey career in 1996 in the Canadian Junior Western Hockey League with the Medicine Hat Tigers . There he initially only played one game and moved to the Edmonton Ice during the season within the league . After another year in his hometown of Edmonton, he joined the Kootenay Ice for the 1998/99 season , where he signed a two-year contract. In 2000, the then 20-year-old moved again to the Seattle Thunderbirds before he received a scholarship at the University of Alberta in the summer of 2001 , for which he then played in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport , the Canadian university sports organization .

After he had exhausted the maximum time of five years that one was allowed to play at a university and had graduated in accounting, the 1.82 m center was drawn to the German Ice Hockey League at ERC Ingolstadt . There Tutschek met an old friend, namely the then coach of the Panthers, Mike Krushelnyski , whom he said he had cheered for when he was seven years old in the Edmonton Oilers stadium . In Ingolstadt , Tutschek was given a two-year contract that was not extended after it expired.

In the summer break of 2008 Bradley Tutschek was transferred to the DEG Metro Stars , for whom he went on the ice in the 2008/09 and 2009/10 seasons .

After the season it became known that Tutschek was ending his career due to persistent problems with his left shoulder.
