Brahim Belaout (* 1972 ) is a former Moroccan long-distance runner .

Athletic career

Brahim Belaout gained his first international experience at the 2006 World Cross Country Championships in Fukuoka , where he finished 34th after 37:18 minutes. The following year, he reached for the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in 2007 in Mombasa after 38:35 min Rank 35 and won then at the Military World Games in Hyderabad in 5000 Meters in 13: 52.32 minutes, the silver medal behind the Kenyans mark kiptoo . He then won the Pan-Arab Games in Cairo with 1:02:30 min in the half marathon. At the Cross Country World Championships in Edinburgh in 2008 , he finished 37th after 36:49 minutes and was then second in the Kenitra Half Marathon with 1:03:25 hours. In 2009 he reached 35th place at the World Cross Country Championships in Amman after 36:55 minutes and in 2011 he reached the final at the military world games in Rio de Janeiro over 10,000 meters, but could not finish his run there.
