It rises in the municipal area of La Souterraine , generally drains in a westerly direction, forms the Saut de la Brame waterfall in the area of ​​the mouth and, after 60 kilometers, flows into the Gartempe as a right tributary at the municipal boundary of Thiat and Darnac .
