Brandstätt is a village in Bavaria. It is in the political community of Edling , district of Rosenheim , administrative district of Upper Bavaria and in the Catholic parish of St. Cyriakus, Edling, dean's office in Wasserburg, archdiocese of Munich and Freising . About 120 people live in Brandstätt.

Until the beginning of the 19th century Brandstätt was the main town of the Hofmark Brandstätt.

From 1905 to 2014 the Wasserburg – Grafing – Munich ( Filzenexpress ) railway line opened up the place. In the course of the expansion of the timetable offer and the necessary reduction in travel time between Wasserburg train station and Grafing train station , the demand stop was abandoned. The place is only connected to local public transport via a stop on the RVO line 9421. The two federal highways 304 and 15 are in the immediate vicinity. They enable supraregional east-west and north-south connections.
