Roßhart is a hamlet in Bavaria. It lies in the political municipality of Edling , district of Rosenheim , administrative district of Upper Bavaria .

Roßhart belongs to the parish of Kloster Attel in the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising . Approx. 140 inhabitants currently live in Roßhart.

Geographical location

Roßhart is located south of Edling and lies in the foothills of the Alps in Upper Bavaria in the middle of a moraine and gravel landscape of the Inn Glacier from the last Ice Age . The small village is conveniently located close to the B 304 and B 15 .

Roßhart is divided into two districts due to the difference in altitude. These are called "Unt 'am Berg" and "Obn am Berg" by the inhabitants.

Events

  • A village festival has been held every summer since 1991
  • Up until 2010 there was an annual night sled ride in winter, and since 2011 a Christmas market in Bavaria has been visited annually by train
  • Joint New Year's fireworks with snow bar

Architectural monuments

  • House No. 9 - a farmhouse from the second half of the 18th century (residential part block construction upper floor)
  • House No. 10 - a stately farmhouse with profiled beam heads, cornice and eaves framing from the 18th century
