Felling is a district of the municipality Edling in the Upper Bavarian district of Rosenheim , which lies between Ebersberg and Wasserburg am Inn on the B304 .

The wasteland is about three kilometers northwest of Edling at an altitude of 493  m above sea level. NN . There are two farms and one house in Felling .

history

One of the sights is the French Cross, which is located on the east wall of the Kirmaier family's courtyard. A wooden plaque on the baroque crucifix says that Bartolomäus Hiebl, Schwarzbauer in Feling, was innocently murdered on April 6, 1801 by the cruel hand of a French . A billeted soldier of the Napoleonic army had lost his money belt in the straw warehouse, accused the peasant of theft and stabbed him in a dispute. The lost property was found a little later, but the soldier also paid for the deed by sentencing him to death by the court martial. A second panel tells of an accident at court. On April 12, 1826, a wooden wagon rolled over the Leonhart Kiermaier, so that he was killed.

The Bavarian original cadastre shows Felling in the 1810s as a hamlet with two hearths and a pond . Today there are three properties in the district.

Infrastructure

The fire station of the Steppach volunteer fire brigade is located in Felling . The federal highway 304 runs north of the village , south the Grafing – Wasserburg railway line , to which there are boarding possibilities in Forsting and Edling . There is also a sports airfield with a grass runway south of the village.
