Bravicea (1944–1989 Cyrillic Бравича, Russian Бравичи / Brawitschi) is a municipality in the Rajon Călărași , Republic of Moldova , 51 km north of the capital Chișinău and 32 km northeast of the Rajon capital Călărași .
geography
In the northeast, the municipality borders the village of Bogzeşti ( Teleneşti Rajon ), to the west to the Meleşeni village ( Călăraşi district ), to the south to the village of Oneşti ( Rajon Străşeni ), to the southeast to the village of Frumoasa (Rajon Călăraşi) and to the east the village of Săseni (Călărași Rajon).

The road that leads from the expressway into town and the junction to Meleșeni are asphalted or, in places, paved.

Infrastructure
Electricity and telephone are available for each house. A water / sewage network and gas pipes are not available.
There are about 5 wells in the village from which the citizens can get water, many of them have their own wells on their property. The public bathhouse was privatized after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the independence of Moldova and has not been in operation since then.
The local hospital was renovated a few years ago with German funding and put back into operation. It employs 5 doctors and 15 nurses.

There are a few shops and bars in the village. Every Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. there is a market on the Piața (market square).
