The Breitenbach is a right tributary of the Loisach in the area of ​​the municipality of Eurasburg and the city of Geretsried in the Upper Bavarian district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen .

course

The Breitenbach rises near the hamlet of Waltersteig in the municipality of Eurasburg, flows a few kilometers in straight sections northwards and bends to the west about one kilometer south of Geretsried- Buchberg . Here the brook now flows in meanders , is passed under the Loisach-Isar Canal and then flows into the Loisach from the right at the Geretsried district of Ziegelei.

Tributaries

  • (First runoff of the silting Egelsee ), from the right and south-east to about 601  m above sea level. NHN between Eurasburg-Haag and Eurasburg- Adelsreuth , approx. 1.2 km. Is Grenzbach between Eurasburg (left) and Geretsried (right).
  • (Second outflow of the Egelsee), from the right and south-southeast to about 597  m above sea level. NHN across from Adelsreuth, approx. 2.1 km. At the beginning it is Grenzbach between Eurasburg (right) and Geretsried (left).
