The Breitenbach is an Upper Bavarian mountain stream that flows into the Tegernsee . During its entire course, the stream runs through the municipality of Bad Wiessee . The sources of the Breitenbach are on the Breitenberg below the Huders at about 1200 meters above sea level. NN
A forest road runs along its entire length next to the Breitenbach . In the lower area, the Breitenbach, like all larger brooks around the Tegernsee, is built for flood protection. At 830 m above sea level NN is the Finneralm right next to the stream.
