Brigitte "Brischit" Streubel (born January 27, 1950 in Lower Franconia ) is a German ex- photo model , actress and video writer. She is one of the five women in the so-called self-awareness group “ The Harem ” around Rainer Langhans .

Life

Streubel grew up in Hagen . She had already been working as a photo model in Düsseldorf for a year, including for photos for Brigitte Junior magazine , when she accepted an invitation from a Paris agency in 1969 and started an international photo model career. Until 1976 she worked in Milan, Rome and London, among others.

In 1972 she met Rainer Langhans with his "K 1" fellow commune Uschi Obermaier . With him, the photographer Anna Werner and Jutta Winkelmann , she founded what is now known as the “harem” in Munich in 1976 , to which Christa Ritter joined in 1978 and Jutta's twin sister Gisela Getty in 1991 . The predominantly spiritually oriented community of five women around Langhans in Munich- Schwabing still exists today.

1974 Streubel first got an acting role in Ulli Lommel's drama "Wachtmeister Rahn". She also tried her hand at Lommel's film "The Second Spring" as an actress, in which Curd Juergens played the leading role in 1975 . In 1978 she played the role of “Eva” in Uschi Reich's television drama “No one can do it” and also worked as a costume designer in this production. She had another role in 1979 in the short film "Smash - Danger from Infinity", directed by Gisela Weilemann . In 1989 she assisted Dominik Graf in directing the comedy "Tiger, Löwe, Panther".

Streubel, who has also worked as a yoga teacher and has been a video camera woman since 1982, published the video The Five “Tibetans” in Action ( ISBN 978-3-502-25000-5 ) in 2007 with contributions by the author and translator Maruscha Magyarosy , also a yoga teacher. Streubel also wrote articles for Bärbel Schäfers and Monika Schuck's book Das Glücksgeheimnis: Couples tell of the success of their love. published by Kiepenheuer Verlag in 2009 ( ISBN 3-378-01102-5 ).
