Brigitte Tilsner

Brigitte Tilsner (* 6. May 1918 in Königsberg , East Prussia ; † 16th July 2002 in Leipzig ) was a German official of the GDR - Block Party LDPD . She was chairwoman of the Leipzig district committee of the LDPD and a member of the Leipzig district parliament.

Life

Tilsner, daughter of a bank employee, attended secondary and commercial schools. She learned the trade of typist and worked as a secretary. In 1945 she came to the SBZ .

In 1947 Tilsner joined the Liberal Democratic Party of Germany (LDP, later LDPD). In 1948 she became a member of the Society for German-Soviet Friendship . From 1950 to 1953 Tilsner was a department head in the Bad Lausick City Council . From 1953 to 1954 she was city councilor in Geithain and from 1954 to 1963 she was deputy chairwoman of the Borna district council . From 1963 she acted as deputy chairwoman and from 1976 to 1979 as chairwoman of the LDPD district committee in Leipzig. From 1967 she was a member of the district assembly . From 1976 to 1987 Tilsner was also a member of the central board of the LDPD.
