Brigitte Urhausen
Brigitte Urhausen (born February 7, 1980 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourgish actress and radio play speaker .
Life
From 1999 to 2003 Brigitte Urhausen trained as an actress at the State University for Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart . After her first engagements at theaters in her home country, the Wilhelma-Theater and the State Theater in Stuttgart as well as the Theater Magdeburg , she started a permanent engagement at the Pfalztheater in Kaiserslautern for several years in 2004 . Here she was seen alongside other roles as Juliet in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet , in the title role of Arthur Schnitzler's novella Fräulein Else , she played Luise in Kabale und Liebe by Friedrich Schiller and Gretchen in Goethe's Faust . From 2009 Urhausen made guest appearances at various Luxembourg theaters, as well as at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe and the Staatstheater Mainz .
Brigitte Urhausen has so far mainly played in front of the camera in Luxembourgish productions. In addition to her work as an off-speaker at the Arte broadcaster , she has been speaking the role of Commissioner Amalie Gentner in the radio crime scenes produced by Saarländischer Rundfunk since 2013 .
Brigitte Urhausen lives in the southern Palatinate.
