Brunelles is a village and a former French community with 544 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belonged to the arrondissement of Nogent-le-Rotrou and the canton of Nogent-le-Rotrou .

With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Margon , Brunelles and Coudreceau were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Arcisses and have the status of a Commune déléguée there . The administrative headquarters are located in Margon.

geography

Brunelles is located about 45 kilometers west-southwest of Chartres in the Perche Regional Nature Park . Brunelles is surrounded by the villages of Coudreceau in the north and north-east, Saint-Denis-d'Authou in the east, Thiron-Gardais in the south-east, La Gaudaine in the south and south-west, Champrond-en-Perchet in the south and Margon in the west and north-west.
