Bruno Preisendörfer

Bruno Preisendörfer (* 1957 in Kleinostheim ) is a German writer . He writes both non- fiction and fiction .

Life

From 1967 to 1970 he attended the Egbert-Gymnasium Münsterschwarzach with boarding school for the Benedictines, then from 1970 to 1974 a commercial secondary school, and finally from 1974 to 1977 the high school (Hanau) . After graduating from high school, he did his community service in Frankfurt am Main and then worked as an employee in a homeless shelter. Then Preisendörfer studied German , political science and sociology . In 1982 he moved to Berlin, where he still lives today, and graduated in 1986. In 1997, Preisendörfer received his doctorate in Berlin with the thesis State formation as royal art . From 1987 to 1997 he worked in various departments at the Berlin city magazine Zitty , from 1995 as editor-in-chief. From 1995 to 1999 he was also editor of the magazine Freibeuter at Wagenbach Verlag . Today he lives as a freelance writer. He also publishes under the pen name Bruno Richard.
