Bruno Timm

Bruno Timm (born June 10, 1902 in Berlin ; † December 15, 1972 there ) was a German cameraman .

After graduating from school in early June 1920, Timm began as a trainee at the Decla-Bioskop production company. As a subordinate cameraman, he worked on Fritz Lang's classics Der müde Tod (1921) and The Nibelungen (1922–24). From 1926 he was co-chief cameraman several times with Otto Kanturek .

After his emigration in 1933, he was mostly solely responsible. Timm photographed musical comedies, adventure films with Harry Piel and other entertainment films . From 1939 he was a participant in the war. He was only able to practice his profession again from 1949. With Liane, the girl from the jungle , he achieved his greatest success in 1956.
