Prof. Dr. Otto, discoverer and formula owner of the synthetic fiber 'Majora', dies in captivity. Before that, he asked his comrades Blohm and Prack to inform his wife of the hidden location of the formula when they returned. A hunt for the formula develops, in which Grit Faller, Prack's ex-lover, and Manzeiras, the owner of a demimondial bar, are involved. Against foreign agents and criminal elements, the inventor's friends finally succeed in finding the formula and saving it for the work for which it was intended.

Panorama-Film, Berlin took care of the distribution. The film premiered on September 2, 1949 at the Europa-Palast in Düsseldorf.
