Bruno Vanoni

Bruno Vanoni (born May 24, 1959 in Bad Ragaz ; entitled to live in Cazis and Bad Ragaz) is a Swiss politician ( GFL / Greens ).

Life

Bruno Vanoni studied history and constitutional law in Zurich and Bern and worked as a journalist at the same time. His political engagement began in the Young CVP of Switzerland and in the umbrella organization of Swiss youth organizations (SAJV). Vanoni has been the information officer of the Swiss Landscape Fund (FLS) since 2007 . Before that, he worked as an editor at the St. Galler Tagblatt and was then federal correspondent for the St. Galler Tagblatt and the Tages-Anzeiger for fifteen years . In 2004 he was awarded the Zurich Journalism Prize for research into foreign secret service activities and their instrumentalization by politics. He is married and has a son and a daughter.

Vanoni was elected to the large municipal council (legislature) of Zollikofen in 2008. He was re-elected in 2012 and 2016. He has been a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern since August 2014 , where he has represented the Green Party on the Education Commission since August 2016.

Vanoni is a board member of the Green Free List Zollikofen , the Green Midlands North and the VCS Region Bern. Vanoni has been co-chairman of the Rudolf Steiner School Bern Ittigen Langnau since 2008 .
