Bryan Batt (born March 1, 1963 in New Orleans , Louisiana ) is an American actor .

Life

In addition to appearances in films and television series, Batt appeared in various stage plays, such as the musical Saturday Night Fever . Batt also wrote two books. One about memories of his mother Gayle (She Ain't Heavy, She's My Mother), another about interior design (Big, Easy Style: Creating Rooms You Love to Live In). For his recurring role as Salvatore Romano in the television series Mad Men , he and the rest of the cast of the series received the Screen Actors Guild Award in the category Best Acting Company in a Television Series - Drama in 2009 and 2010 . In 2011 he appeared as Fat Chucky in a supporting role in the movie "Brawler". In 2013 he appeared in 12 Years a Slave . In 2015 he played in the family film Wiener Dog Internationals .
