Buena Park is a city in Orange County in the US state of California , United States , with 79,200 inhabitants (as of 2004). The geographical coordinates are: 33.86 ° North, 118.00 ° West. The urban area has a size of 27.6 km². Buena Park is known, among other things, for the large leisure park Knott's Berry Farm located there .
Demographics
According to the 2010 census, the 80,530 inhabitants were distributed over 23,686 households. The population density was 2,939.1 inh / km². 45.3% described themselves as white , 3.8% as African-American , 1.1% as Indians , 26.7% as Asian Americans , 17.5% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 5.1% to several ethnic groups on. 39.3% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .
In 2010 children under the age of 18 and 26.2% of all households lived in 43.8% of all households with persons at least 65 years of age. 80.7% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or a parent with offspring). The average household size was 3.37 people and the average family size was 3.67 people.
