The Buffalo Norsemen were an American ice hockey franchise of the North American Hockey League based in Buffalo , New York .
history
The Buffalo Norsemen were founded for the 1975/76 season as a franchise of the North American Hockey League . In their only season, the team finished fourth in the West Division. In the following playoffs for the Lockhart Cup, the Norsemen were defeated by the Johnstown Jets in the first round with 2: 3 wins in the best-of-five series. Then the team stopped playing again.
