The Burg Hochburg is an abandoned late medieval hilltop castle on the vineyard about 400 meters northeast of the local church of Schliersee (Hans-Miederer-Straße) in the Miesbach district in Bavaria .
The castle stables from the middle of the 12th century are covered by the Karl Haider monument .
