Castle and chateau Klenová (German Klenau ) are located on the right side above the Jelenka valley in Klenová in Okres Klatovy , Czech Republic .

history

The first written mention comes from 1291 when the castle was completed. At the beginning of the Hussite Wars , Přibík von Klenová had the castle partially rebuilt and re-fortified. The castle fell into disrepair in the 16th century. A castle was then built nearby , the last reconstruction of which took place in the neo-Gothic style from 1834 to 1836 .
