Burgenweg (Upper Palatinate)

The Burgenweg is a 176 km long hiking trail in Northern Bavaria , which is maintained by the Upper Palatinate Forest Association . As the name suggests, the path shows hikers the wealth of castles in the Upper Palatinate. At the same time it opens up the Wiesau pond pan and valley landscapes of the Waldnaab, the Pfreimd and the Schwarzach.

The Burgenweg is also part of the predicate trail Goldsteig , which also starting in Marktredwitz to Passau runs.
