The Burghaus Wassenach is a former castle house in Wassenach , a municipality in the district of Ahrweiler ( Rhineland-Palatinate ). The Wassenach castle house is a protected cultural monument .

history

The Wassenach castle house, located in the center of the village, was built in 1772 by the von Kolb family . This family gained influence beyond the borders of the village. The two-wing baroque plastered building with a mansard hipped roof now houses a collection of old musical instruments . Concerts are also held there regularly.
