Burgos is a municipality in the Province of Surigao del Norte, Philippines . The community was named after the Filipino national hero Jose Burgos .
It is located in the northeast of the island of Siargao in the east of the Philippines.
Burgos has 4034 inhabitants (August 1st 2015 census).
