Dapa is a Filipino municipality in the province of Surigao del Norte .
It is located in the south of the island of Siargao in the east of the Philippines; it includes the smaller islands of East Bucas, Middle Bucas and Casulian located further south.
Dapa has 23,787 inhabitants (August 1st 2015 census).

The seaport of Dapa is the main gateway for visitors to Siargao with daily ferry connections to Surigao City and 327,749 passenger movements in 2017. Public passenger transport within the community takes place predominantly with pedicabs and motorized tricycles . For trips to more distant destinations on the island, jeepneys , multicabs and motorcycles, which are mostly provided with a roof structure to protect the passengers from the sun, are used. Taxis, on the other hand, are not found in Dapa or on the entire island of Siargao.
