Del Carmen is a municipality in the Province of Surigao del Norte, Philippines .
It is located in the southwest of the island of Siargao in the east of the Philippines; it includes the smaller islands of Poneas, Tona, Binoscogan, Laonan and Cowhagan to the west.
Del Carmen has 18,392 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census).
The Sayak Airport of the same name , also known as Siargao Airport, is located in Baranggay Sayak . The only regular transport connections to the island of Siargao are via the seaport of Dapa and the airport in Del Carmen.
