The castle Thurn is the ruins of a hilltop castle on 883  m above sea level. NN about 2.5 kilometers northwest of the church of the market Oberstaufen and north of Vorderreute in the Swabian district of Oberallgäu in Bavaria .

The castle was first mentioned in 1285 and was owned by the Lords of Weiler . Only the remains of the tower and cellar remain from the former castle complex, which is protected by a stream . The Burgplatz is now a ground monument .
