The Burgstall Ödenburg , also called Edenburg, Thaining, Schlossberg , is an abandoned hilltop castle at 705 m above sea level. NN on the Schlossberg about 1400 meters east-northeast of the church in Thaining in the Landsberg am Lech district in Bavaria .
The Counts of Abenstein are named as owners of the castle mentioned in the 11th century. After the castle collapsed in the middle of the 16th century, the castle stables became deserted and today only shows traces of the foundation wall and a ditch to the north. The core castle , measuring 60 by 25 meters, was located on an oval earth cone.
