The Postal Blankenberg is an Outbound medieval hilltop castle on the site of the "mountain cottage" on the Blankenberg at Ipthausen , a modern district of the city Bad Königshofen in the grave box, in the district of Rhön-grave field in Bavaria .

In 1232 a Theodoricus von Blankenberg is mentioned with the castle. Presumably the castle was destroyed in 1525 during the peasant war.
